Disable Windows 8/8.1 lock screen (NO software required)

Do you have windows 8/8.1 ?

But you don’t like the lock screen. Don’t worry we are here. Today I am going to show you how to disable windows8/8.1 lock screen without the use of any additional software/registry/patch etc.

You will do it by yourself! So without wasting time let us begin. Follow the simple steps:

1. Press “WIN+R” or right click on start menu to launch RUN dialog box.
2. Then type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
3. It’ll open Group Policy Editor.
4. In left-side panel, go to computer configuration > Window setting > administrative templates > personalization.
5. In right-side panel, Do Not Display Lock screen.
6. Set the value to enabled and click OK.

Note: To Enable lock screen again then set the value to Not configured again.
